ELECTROSTATICS Do – It – Yourself Projects
For pupils, students and school laboratories

The design, construction and drawings Radoje Jankovic.
All dimensions in millimeters.

This plate is intended for many experiments in electrostatics. As can be seen from the drawing, the device is very simple. It consists only of a plate (1) and a metal shank (2) which is fixed with the bolt (3).

The plate (1) is made of aluminum or brass of dimensions 150 x 150 x 1,0 mm. The edges are slightly rounded corners and processed under radius R = 5 mm. The plate has to be polished. At one end of the middle of the drilled hole diameter of 3.5 mm.

The handle to the plate (2) are made of aluminum or brass electrodes with a diameter of 6 mm, which is at one end is cut to Pos. 2, and drill a hole of appropriate diameter for threading M3 mm. The handle is polished.

Assembly is very simple and is performed using a single screw M3 x 6 mm countersunk head.
