BRANCHED “T” CABLE CONNECTORS

These cable connectors are intended for connecting and branching or separating the branch from the main power line of single-core, three-core, four-core power cables. They are made in a high degree of protection for cable cross-sections up to 500 mm² and, if necessary, for larger cable cross-sections.

The assembly of these couplings is performed by means of T – constructions at an angle of 900 connecting elements, which as a rule come in the coupling set.

This type of cable connector is manufactured for low voltage and high voltage cables. They are usually for single-core and three-core cables, less often for two-core, four-core or five-core cables.

They are made of metal – from cast iron or alloy.

It should be emphasized that with each cable connector, the manufacturer delivers detailed, step-by-step technical instructions for making it in the field. The electrician must strictly follow the manufacturer’s Technical Instructions.

Making a T-joint for large cross-section cables, step by step.

When making a “T” cable joint for large cross-section cables, a lot can go wrong, say experienced installers.

The most important thing is to focus on the strongest, precision, expertise and patience are key in these jobs. Of course, good training and strict adherence to the Technical Instructions of the T-joint manufacturer. In this case, it all fit together and the job was done great. “T” connection of a single-core fine-wire cable with a cross-section of 500 mm2.

Sl. 16. Nalivena zalivna masa u spojnici. Zatvaranje poklopca i izrada T-kablovske spojnice je završena.  Još samo ispitivanje i zatrpavanje kablovskog rova. Na kraju ostaje stavljanje kabla pod napon.
