Electricity: The New Ecological Systems at the Mines at This Moment

Recorded and written by Radoje Jankovic, Professional Technical Writer and Documentary.

New Ecological Systems at the Mines at This Moment

The Electricity Production Starting in the Surface Opening Open Pit Mines.

Today, I took several photos of the beginnings of the formation of new ecological systems in surface mines on “land” forms of complex geological composition. I am not sure whether geologists have still defined these new geological soils that are formed during and after the mass surface exploitation of lignite coal. I have previously taken many photographs of these areas successively from the beginning to the near end of the formation of stable ecosystems with all the characteristics.

Fig. 1. THE BEGINNING OF THE DISCOVERY IN FIELD “D”, COAL MINING BASIN “KOLUBARA”

This is a picture of the first excavation of tailings at the surface mine field “D” from 1961.
Look at those tame landscapes as they looked 60 years ago and today none of this exists, desert landscapes, pampas, steppes, prairies up to -60 m below normal altitude, all in one part of the far east of Rudovac and Prkosava to the center of Vreoce and from Junkovac, Mirosaljac and Arapovac from the north to the center of Medoševac, Zeoke and Baroševac in the south.
The tailings were transported by wagon trains pulled by steam locomotives.
Today don’t existing anything of these and more, more…

It is interesting that plant formations first appear as solitary individuals of resistant or adaptable newly formed geological soil formations that are very fertile. It gradually expands and multiplies. Also, after many years of monitoring, I noticed that after a few years, almost the entire surface is covered with plants of various species. After ten years, they are becoming thicker and thicker and are starting to become more and more impassable.

At the same time, many new surface watercourses with various branches are formed…. See also the following article.

Are any of the ecologists and environmental experts, not only from Lazarevac, which has a lot, but also from Serbia, from the faculties that there are many, as well as from the institutes that deal with this issue? And not only here in “Kolubara”, but also in other coal basins in Serbia.

I know that many have obtained master’s and doctoral degrees and “sound” masters and doctors of science by writing various environmental studies at all institutions because they were well paid by RB “Kolubara”. Many of them were “adaptable”, you know how and to whom. They were paid with a hat and a fist. Millions and millions of euros have been given for various environmental projects, studies and as well as for the alleged protection of the environment in our municipality after the surface exploitation of coal.

NOVI EKOLOŠKI SISTEMI NA KOPOVIMA U OVOM TRENUTKU

Snima i piše Radoje Janković, Profesionalni tehnički pisac i dokumentator.
